Before the update I was playing in high quality with no problem. Since the desert update, the performance in iPad is awful. I change settings to medium and it is still working not good.

Also, I can’t go to the boss in great desert, because the game crash when I’m getting close to him.

I have the same issue. Switch to lowest graphics setting and you might have a chance in the desert.
