Dear Black Desert Mobile Team,
I'm writing this letter to say goodbye after spending a long time enjoying your game. I've had great adventures in your world, and I truly appreciate the effort and dedication you've poured into building such a rich and visually stunning universe. However, after careful thought, I've decided to stop playing.
The main reason is the current resource and progression system, which I find unhealthy and exhausting, especially for players who don’t have much free time. Many of the game's mechanics require leaving the game running on auto for hours, with no real alternative for more casual or time-constrained players.
I honestly believe a simple addition could greatly improve this: implementing Black Spirit Mode in key zones such as the Desert, Chaos Rift, Everfrost, and Sherekhan. This would allow many players to stay active and progress without sacrificing their personal lives, and I believe that nearly 90% of players who quit the game do so because they lack time. This feature alone could make a massive difference.
I would also like to suggest introducing specters (bots) into PvP content like Arena and Ramoness. The current matchmaking queues are extremely long due to the low number of active players, which frustrates many and leads to even more quitting. Adding bots would shorten waiting times and reward players who actively engage and win, encouraging more dynamic and skill-based PvP instead of leaving the game on auto for hours.
Similarly, Co-op Bosses such as Ronym, Garmoth, and Offin would benefit from this system. Instead of limiting the number of participants, as was done with Offin, the game could fill empty spots with bots to make the fights more epic, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.
I leave with a heavy heart, but also with hope that these suggestions might inspire future changes. Black Desert Mobile has tremendous potential, and I sincerely wish for its continued growth and evolution—especially in a way that welcomes all types of players.
Thank you for everything, and farewell.
Sincerely,
Saül
