why not making auto-fishing? max time 30min , every time fish take bait , must tap screen lol. come on this is mobile game , do uthink ppl have time to watch and tap continuosly?

The game will auto-catch fish and recast if you just let the timer run out, though it is bit of time for each cycle. 

Or you can purchase the Splat Fisher costume (in the pearl shop) which will catch the fish when it bites without the long timer.

 

If you do not want to spend the pearls just start fishing and leave the game running for a few hours.
