Aside from "Exchange" devs should put up a shelter or orphanage in one of the cities (I suggest in the village of Shais?), there, pets can be released to Shais' custody or something like this? And you can donate money or pet food for buffs?

Haven't tried it yet though, the "Exchange" feature in pets.
