This particularly relates to the shine of hair, where while in the character creator it will look just fine, then once you go in game, or even to the character lobby, your hair can look so shiny, it looks like it was made of polished glass. Although lighting can also affect other things, like colour. Also from what I gather, Black Desert Online has, or at least had the same issue.
