PALADIN rework needs some rework

Overall the class underwent a much needed rework. This update made Paladin viable in Arena and Ramoness and is overall pleasing.

 

There's a but though...

 

Even though Paladin is suppose to be the faster counter part to its much stronger sister, Lancer, she is quote the slow PvE/Farmer. Underperforming in its kills per minute despite the available skills. These thoughts are really more to improve its PvE capabilities and is targeted more towards the PvE skills. 

 

Shield Throw increased distance, damage output, and added "lingering damage" animation is countered with the reduction in skill charges making this skill about the same as before in farming utility. Was expecting this to help drive higher kills per minute, but this either on par or worse than before. This skill needs the 2 skill charges.

 

Sharp Light this might be counter balancing the underperformance of Shield Throw with its increased animation speed. This was much needed.

 

Sword of Judgement got a power boost. Probably didnt want to boost it too much being the grab class that it is thus giving it a temporary boost if you fill up and time the Sacred Bar. Felt like this was a nice middle ground.

 

Divine Wrath was anything changed here? This has the slow wind-up at the beginning of the skill STILL and no Super Armor in arena. I was expecting either allow the Super Armor in arena or increase the initial animation speed to help its farming capabilities. This says its a PvP skill but it really is needed in PvE otherwise you're going to use basic attacks

 

Radiant Charge received a much needed mobility upgrade, but changing this from a 4 hit and spreading that damage across 8 hits has made this a much slower farming skill as it takes more hits to kill a monster now and you are pretty much stuck in the animation. It would be nice if there was an option or "FLOW" that lets this skill revert back to a higher damage 4 hit with slightly shorter range for PvE/Farming purposes.

 

Celestial Spear received pretty much the same treatment as Sword of Judgement.

 

Punishment no changes were made or needed here

 

Shield Chase nice changes that help it perform better in Black Sun and Arena. Pretty good on the upgrades. ***EDIT: The distance traveled should be slightly increased. As a charge in skill this feels shorter when compared to other classes.

 

Judgement of Light pretty much got a full makeover from a circular aoe to a conal frontal attack, but unfortunately does not have combo flows for it and feels sluggish when used after Sword of Judgement. You'd think they'd have something like Sword of Judgement >>> Judgement of Light... just makes sense name-wise. Seems to perform better now in PvE/Farming.

 

Sonic Slicer this skill received no love. Maybe giving this skill an extra charge would help Paladin greatly in farming.

 

Breath of Elion is still surprisingly slow on the animation when compared to other classes. A slightly faster animation would help with its balance or give it a better boost for how long this girl is breathing for.
