I wanted to suggest a cross server system, because it would be really fun to play on other server with your one and only family account because it is so tiring to create new ones and start again. And it will be a result of boredom.

I agree with Treblig it's not a bad idea and it can be exciting, competitive and fun at the same time. Hope you consider cross server too.
