With the new succession skill update, the Wizard class gained 2 new skills from Igneus, which are Overdrive and Bolide of Destruction: due to its stun and self heal abilities, I would use Overdrive rather in PVP than in PVE and since I played Igneus for one year before switching recently, I now have chosen Bolide of Destruction, as I am am more PVE oriented and tried different setups to maximize my PVE potential for this class. Nevertheless, both skills provide AoE and are therefore good options for PVE, Overdrive hits the targets in front of you and Bolide of Destruction hits a circle target area which can hit enemies regardless of the direction.

My skill set up contains as follows: Bolide of Destruction, Mana Echo, Earth`s Response, Lightning Storm, Terra Strike, Earthquake and Thunderbolt Strike. In this set up, Bolide of Destruction serves well to all the other already available AoE skills of the Wizard and provides a high KPM (kills per minute) while farming in PVE.

As you see in my attached images, I deactivated two skill effects of the succession skill: for one of them you can choose between front guard and super armor, if you deactivate it, you will gain front guard, if you leave it activated, then the skill provides super armor (caution: both effects do not apply in arena). The other one provides a 35% attack range increase, but also reduces the attack speed of the skill. As at the most time, the enemies stand relatively close to me, I have chosen the higher attack speed of the skill above the attack range increase and also have chosen front guard because then the Wizard has a second skill which applies front guard - Terra strike is the other one - which I find very useful, especially for Trials of Ator Elite challenges and other challenging PVE content like Guild Raids.

For the skills, I have chosen Aalh or Ahib branch, where applicable, to maximize the damage output, and with the class specific passive Elemental Flow, which has a high uptime with this setup of fast skills, I also recognized a high damage per second, which also resulted in higher rankings for the World Bosses, which I have defeated since my change.
