Introduction: Hello adventurer. Are you having a bad time in Black desert mobile? Whether be it having poor rng results, low cp, slow progress or really just can't understand the overall gameplay of the game and what's it about.
These beginner tips will surely help you in your journey into the world of Black Desert Mobile.
1. Beginners tips
*The Classes
- Rating: 1 (Lowest) - 10 (Highest)
- Warrior: This class is very tanky because of his weapon which is a sword and shield combination. During shield stance you can completely block a frontforward skill or normal attack. PVP(Player Versus Player): 8/10 (This class has a lot of disables.) PVE(Player Versus Environment): 8/10 (Most of the warrior's skills for PVE are melee and accumulative in damage).
-Valkyrie: This class is very much the same as the warrior but has healing skills. PVP: 10/10 PVE: 10/10. I know, I'm biased hahahaha.
-Ranger: This range agile little runt has disable long ranged skills and a dispel skill when knocked down, definitely this class is good for PVP but dont get me wrong, the Rangers skills for PVE also packs a punch. Not to mention they're all mid to long range. Only disadvantage of this class is they're squishy. This class has a weak heal. PVP: 9/10 (Range disables and a dispel skill really is annoying) PVE: 8/10 (Mainly because she can cover a lot of ground being a range type.)
-Witch: Currently the games highest damaging class. This class is good for farming but also annoying in PVPs. Though quite squishy Witch's evasion is basically a form of teleport. She can also use it during Boss Rushes unlike the others. She also has a heal better than the ranger.
PVP: 9/10 (All around skill types. High damage, disables, slows, etc.) PVE: 10/10 (High damage output)
Lastly,
-Berserker (Giant) - these ugly golems have high damage output but relatively softer than his melee counterparts Valk and Warrior.
PVP: 8/10 (They say the Giant is a monster in PVP when awakening comes though.) PVE: 10/10 ( Has a spinning skill paired with high damage output easily one of the favorable skills in farming.)
- Other classes will be released in the future.
*Leveling
- Starting your adventure in Velia, leveling is not that difficult. Levels from 1-55 are quite easy. Just follow the main quest and throw in some side quests aswell l. (Note! What I mean with side quests are the quests you get from NPCs(None Playing Characters) inside a town. An indication that an NPC has a side quest is he/she has a green exclamation mark on top of their head.) Gathering materials such as logs, rugged stones and wild grass greatly gives you experience aswell!
*Gears
- The gears you equip on this game varies quite alot. It is divided into tiers which are represented by colors.
1. White - Trash, you dont need these.
2. Green - You get to equip these early on (Especially Accessories), very weak but dont worry. It will be replaced by better gears as you progress through the main quest.
3. Blue - quite weak also easily replaceable but can get you through at certain times.
4. Purple - Quite rare and has decent stats.
5. Yellow - Very rare but as the game has already been out for a couple of weeks, you can easily buy these in the market. Now these gears are what you want to have already fully equipped when you reach level 55.
6. Orange - These gears are very hard to find and are quite expensive if you buy them at the market. These gears are currently the strongest in game at this point in time.
*Enhancement
- Now for enhancement and this is very important. UPGRADE YOUR GEARS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE! Even if your wearing green gears enhance them as high as possible. Why? Because an ingame function called Enhancement transfer is available! You can just transfer the Enhancement level of your gear to a better higher tier gear. It may lose some enhancement level but rest assured it always lead to you having more cp in the end.
Enhancement of accessories is different though. You need an identical accessory to increase its enhancement level by 1. I recommend going for blue accessories +8 first for they are cheap and has a decent amount of CP. Sadly, there is no Enhancement transfer for accessories so if you want to transition to another tier, you need to start all over. An option for you would be to sell your old accessories to the market so you'll eventually acquire back the BPs you've used.
*Black Pearls (BP)
- Black Pearls are the in game currency needed to buy accessories aside from real money which is represented by Pearls in game.
- Early in the game dont buy anything with your Black Pearls. Instead save it for the 400 BP pet in the cash shop. Found at the upper right of your screen. Symbol is C encased by a gold circle.
- If you have already done that then you can now spend you BPs for accessories.
*Pets
- Your willy companion for automatically looting boxes that monsters drop while your auto farming.
- You can buy pets at the Cash shop using Black Pearls. These pets have a variety of skills which can help you in many ways such as increased experience gain while auto farming, gathering, black spirit leveling or knowledge gain which is important when doing boss rushes (Boss rushes will be taught to you via in-game. Dont worry.) Like gears, pets also have tiers. The higher tier the better skills and faster looting time you have.
- IMPORTANT NOTE! Do not rush increasing your pets tier! Once you have the maximum 3 pets, you should invest your BPs for your accessories!
*Horses
- DO NOT DISREGARD HORSES!
- Horses are your in game mount. To make travelling much faster. But that is not the only use of horses. Horses have these bonds that gives you an additional buff whether be it HP(Hit Points or Basically your life), Damage, Defense or Critical hit chance.
- How to acquire horses. Well, you actually need to tame them in game. You can find these horses on maps that has a horse Icon in the map. Not all maps have horses so keep that in mind. There's a tutorial in taming horses in Velia. Just do all the side quests in that village and you'll get there.
*Increasing CP(Combat Power)
- Increasing cp should not be a priority for you early on. You can actually defeat bosses even if you lack the CP requirement. Just abuse your class's perks and bring A LOT of potions.
*Black Spirit
- This guy is one of the most important aspects of the game. Level up this guy by feeding it trash gears. This guy's awakening can be accomplished by just following the main quest storyline so dont worry. This guy can give you additional high damage outout skills and additional CP when he levels up.
2. Camp Management
* Workers: workers in your camp do a lot of things from gathering, crafting and constructing. You will notice that workers also has tiers and has 3 particular stats. Namely Dexterity Vitality and Strength.
-Worker Stats
- Dexterity: The higher this stat gets the faster a worker can craft potions, crystals or costumes. This can also affect how much resources you get from your nodes.
-Strength: The higher this stat gets the faster a worker can finish constructing a building.
-Vitality: The higher this stat gets the faster your workers can gather in the field.
*Nodes: Nodes are gathering spots separate from your camp. But you still need workers. The huge difference lies from what you gather. In nodes you can gather materials such as Boss Rush Exchange ticket, Black Stones, Ancient Tablets (Used in Ancient Ruins. In-game tutorial automatic dont worry), skill books, ancient gold coins and even Black Pearls.
*Important Note! To effectively use nodes you need to have 20-25 workers. If you have below this amount then you are not ready for nodes. You would be sacrificing the time in gathering resources if you invest early in nodes. So focus first in increasing the number of your workers in camp. Ideally 25 workers but you can do with 20 too.
*Worker tier
- The worker's tier classification is the same as gears. The higher the tier the higher the stats a worker possesses.
*Important note! If your gathering in nodes high tier workers are the best option for they will gather more resources than what is indicated intially. Use blue workers in gathering.
