Is this where we start complaining because there was a bug with our tasks, or did the riot finally die off the forums xD

I've still got that problem, along with: not being able to join ancient ruins, not being able to register items to my collection (but the items still being used up for no reward), not able to whisper friends or talk in guild, unable to leave the guild fortress if anyone in my guild is unfortunate enough to accidently go there, unable to interact with my blood kin, unable to access arena... and there are even more that other people are experiencing.

I think the riots died, not because people stopped complaining, but because people just gave up and quit the game already because of the sheer number of bugs with the update after an almost 24 hour maintenance. A "letter of apology" and 50 black pearls really is not adequate compensation for this absolute failure so I think rioting is pretty justified.
