Have you tried setting Effects in Graphics setting to low, while everything else(Resolution, Texture, and Max Framerate) remail maxed out? On my Google Pixel 3 XL it would cap around 30ish(I didn't actually benchmark, just very easy to see the difference between 30 and 60), after setting effects to low it would run smooth as butter. I also noticed with effects set to high the resolution would be scaled down even though it was maxed out and the game would blury and grainy as hell.
I did try lowering everything except the frame limit which stays at max settings, it's just hard capped at 45 fps.
According to what I understand so far, the cause of the issue is because asus rog phone 2 has a variety of type like Elite, Strix, Ultimate, etc and they used different model name for each.
So, correct me if i'm wrong, all PA need to do is to whitelist the newer models in order for the game to recognize the device to run at 60 fps or possibly more.
Alright, just going by my experience and what fixed the issues for me. I was about to completely give up on this game because it looked like utter trash(I honestly couldn't understand why so many said the graphics were good until I fixed it) and the FPS was abyssmal.
Now I am back to good ole "I am done with this trash because I am getting nothing but trash" mentality.
